What a great company to work with and an exceptional product. Got the recommendation from Prepping 2.0. I accidentally selected the wrong shipping address because of PayPal. Called and left a message and sent an email. I received a call back and a confirmation email almost right away. Awesome customer service. Shipped out the next day and was at my door in discrete packaging in 4 days. WOW is all I can say. I highly recommend CATI Armor.

These plates fit well, form (shape) aids in weight distribution.
I also have the fitness plates that aid in lessening potential fatigue.
My suggestion is get them if you're on the fence.

These plates fit phenomenally in my plate carrier and around my body! The finish is very high quality and the trauma pads fit amazihly well!

Opted for the 10x12 combo and paired with with a Ferro carrier. Traded coverage for mobility. These plates are considerably lighter than my original AR 500 plates of larger dimensions. Just have to resist the urge to pack on too much gear.

The plates fit and have a nice contour for my body. Just know that shipping time is beyond slow and they don’t respond to customer service emails. I got an email that my plates shipped, and a week went by with no updates from the carrier. I emailed to see if they had even left the warehouse and no response. Finally a few days later I see that my plates are on the move.

i bought these as a lark. i was just curious to the multicurve and wanted to check them out. all my other plates have the basic curve. so i wanted to see if these were as good as they seem. after watching every video most likely, i took the bait. and man, i am glad i did. i will admit that with a trauma pad you cannot tell much of a difference from these and a single curve. however with prolonged wear or if you wear your carrier really tight to your boddy you will certainly notice a difference. even tho i bought these simply to answer a question, and had no desire on upgrading my kit, but i have since made these my primary plates. i keep these in my main gear and ive moved my spartan armor into my backup p.c. i HIGHLY recommend these plates as well as watching the videos on youtube. you will not find a single negative or derogatory video regarding these plates.

They are perfect, my wife can use them to walk around in and get use to the weight before moving in to her normal plates. Thanks

I don't have much experience with body armor but the rating seems good. Thankfully I haven't had them tested yet. My brother said they seemed just as good or better than the ones he wore in the Army in Iraq.

These plates were recomended by a special warfare friend of mine. I chose the A600 multicurve with side plates. They arrived quickly and I am very satisfied with the fit and finish. My one complaint is not with the product,but with the customer service. Through a mix up in communication with PayPal, I eneded up making a double order. I contacted both PayPal and CATIArmor. PayPal referrred me back to the vendor, so I tried contacting CATIArmor by phone but was referred to the info e-mail. So e-mail sent on 7/9. Both orders arrived on 7/15. I accepted one and refused the other. I e-mailed CATIArmor on 7/15 regarding the refusal and per their instructions on the questions voicemail, I asked to be contacted by phone upon receipt of the e-mail. To date, no contact or refund. I realize that CATIArmor is inundated with orders and shipments, I willl update in a week and will again contact at [****].

Difficult to review something without testing. Hopefully never have to find out. In terms of comfort, due to the multicurves, plates have made my carrier much more comfortable, especially at the shoulders. Carrier feels lighter as well even though the plates weigh more than my old ones. I suppose it's due to them hugging the torso better. Will definitely buy another set.

What a sweet deal! I paid roughly 300 dollars to another company for just a front and back plate. Once I found that I could buy a better rated armor (WITH SIDE PLATES!) From CATI i returned my old plates immediately and used my refund toward buying this set. Theyre really not as heavy as you think they'd feel, and very comfortable. I also think the label with the manufactured date and protection rating is a nice touch (i didn't get that with my other plates, kinda scary if you think about it lol) and i also like that I'm supporting a small local company. The stickers and morale patch that come with the set are pretty rad too!

Purchased these lighter plates for my wife’s vest and for when I want to go a little lighter. They installed much easier than the other contoured plates I have from another manufacturer. The grippy coating on them helps them to stay in place much better too.

I ordered my catiarmor plates January 21st 2021 and received them on February 15th 2021 not bad shipping considering the snow and ice storms we had in my area, but after unpacking my plates and looking at them, wearing them around and watching tons of reviews online of shooting tests I believe these plates are GREAT and will definitely protect my life and yours to and a low cost and shipping is free! Although they don’t do much on responding to emails or calls I ordered a swim front and rear plate and realized I needed a sapi rear cut plate and they saw my email and did as I asked and got me the exact plates I wanted so I’m SUPER thankful to catiarmor and I hope the best for the company and I will be referring these guys to all my family and friends and will also be buying more plates and doing reviews myself on shooting and testing these plates just to show everyone I trust them making my metal so should you! Have a great year and let’s hope the government allows us to continue buying these plates because it would suck not being able to protect yourself as needed but for now buy up all the plates you can afford!

Best value out of all the researched options. Plates are extremely comfortable with multi curve options. The build up coat is extremely durable and would definitely recommend getting it. I would definitely recommend this company as compared to others who take much longer to send you the plates. I took about a week or two to get mine sent out. Also can't beat free shipping. Hands down, Cati is the best steel armor company out there.

I have the 511 Tactec plate carrier and ordered the the 10x12 plates. These fit fine and firmly on this plate carrier.

I've had them for about a week and half and have ran several basic drills with it. Have not gone prone with it so no feedback there. I can do all sorts of body movement. I can shoulder my weapons without any issues and do not seem to notice any interference from the plates or the plate carrier.

The biggest thing that stands out from these plates, is that its fits very well and blends into my chest and back.

The only down side is the weight, it is on the heavy side so with all the plate carrier accessories and a fully loaded gun with optic, light and laser, the weight just adds up. But like everything else with lots of training, the extra weight will just become 2nd nature.

With that said, don't let that scare you into getting these plates because I still give it 5 stars for the price and how well it fits.

These plates fit great. I got the multicurve, and am very glad I did. They are heavy, but they didn't feel near as heavy when I put my carrier on. I wore them around for a couple of hours when I first received them. I will be buying more.

Excellent service, fantastic product, and while I hope to never need to see if they work, CATI armor has my vote. Took my time to write this review to see how things stacked up and the plates fit, outstanding all around. Trauma pads were snug and a little bonus upgrade. First, these AR600 plates are made well and have many options to fit individual needs. The price, and shipping were spot on during all the chaos with Covid 19, and social unrest.
Secondly, CatiArmor makes a quality product!

I am new to the civilan body armor game so this is going to be based off truely how I feel. The plates I got first of all are level 3 + swimmers cut front sappi cut back and they fit perfect in my carrier and because they are curved with trauma pads I feel like the protection level is good. The weight is not as bad as I thought with full ammo 6 30 round mags 190 rounds total and a camel back full of water 33 pounds with out ammo and water about 17 pounds. They shipped pretty fast bases on lead time of 3 weeks got them in two. I would recommend these plates to any one looking to get started in the armor world with out shelling out 300 a plate this company is for you. If you want some good shot data check out CATI armor reviews shows how good it actually holds up with multiple calibers and all.

I ordered knowing full well I was facing a two week lead time due to this covid-19 nonsense. CATI hit the two week lead right on the head. Given I am a MI resident it was only 2 days to receive once the order was fulfilled. After all the research and time spent wearing other plates these plates are top notch bar none compared to any other steel on the market and for the price point with full build up and trauma pads it is an almost insane deal!
