3 weeks to get delivery- acceptable for that price.
Adjustment of plate carrier vest with plates installed took 20-30 min to get comfortable. Weight of total vest, front and back plates, plus side plates was almost dead on 30 pounds.
I hope I never need then, but feel confident that they will work as intended if ever needed.
Time to pull vest off hanger and strap it on me is about 3-5 minutes.
I may buy the quick release “active shooter “ carrier soon, to cut down time to put this model on properly.
Overall recommendation is this is well worth the price on sale, and a decent value at full price.
After having a plate carrier I ordered before from another site not fit my size of body, this was a fantastic find. Especially with the price and the stance of CATI has as a company. Was really excited to get the carrier and plates at such good prices as an entry to get into the atmosphere of having things to protect me and mine. Great adjustability for sizes with the Velcro. Very strong hold and hard to release. Held plates from CATI single curve very well and can’t wait to buy accessories to add onto the carrier.
Good Overall. Plate carrier does not fit 6X8 side plates I ordered. Was provided with side plate inserts that were not intuitively obvious how to attach. I reached out to the company for guidance or even a link to a diagram but got no response. Disappointing first time product purchase of two sets.
